EMERY PARK RULES:
- Open sunrise to sunset, unless permission is granted to you and/or your party by the Parks and Recreation Director.
- Carry in, carry out. No trash receptacles are available.
- Dogs must be on leash. Please pick up after your dogs. No dogs on the playground, in the swimming area, or at campsites.
- The following is prohibited:
- Alteration of the landscape, plant life, field equipment, park equipment, or infrastructure.
- The use of fireworks, glass, playing golf, and loud, vulgar, confrontational language, smoking tobacco, cannabis, illegal drugs, alcohol and vapes.
- Unauthorized apparatus (inflatable, tent, etc.) that requires being secured to the ground.
- Soliciting or vending.
- Hunting, trapping, and fishing.
- Swimming or entry into the stream or feeder pond.
- Bushwhacking and rock climbing, unless authorized by the Parks and Recreation Director.
- Overnight parking and loitering, unless authorized by the Parks and Recreation Director.
- Vehicles, mountain bikes, and bicycles outside of the parking lot, unless authorized by the Parks and Recreation Director.
- Camping is by permit only in designated camp sites. Permits can be found on the Parks and Recreation Department website. Camping permits are subject to fees. All food must be stored in bear proof containers and left at least 100 feet from your campsite.
- Picnicking is permitted in the grass area and along the trails. Camp fires and grills must be used in designated areas, attended, and drowned at the end of use.
- No swimming, ice skating, or entry into the fenced in swimming area. Entry into the fenced in swimming area is permitted when explicitly indicated that it is open for use. Rules for the swimming area are posted at the swimming area when open for use.
- The parking lot is not maintained during winter months.
- Please be mindful of the wildlife you see on the field. Be aware of bears and ticks.
