| Park Rules |
KENT COMMONS PARK RULES:
- Open sunrise to sunset, unless permission is granted to you and/or your party by the Parks and Recreation Director.
- Please place trash in appropriate receptacles. Please do not litter.
- Dogs must be on leash. Please pick up after your dogs. No dogs on the playground or courts.
- The following is prohibited:
- Alteration of the landscape, plant life, field equipment, park equipment, or infrastructure.
- The use of fireworks, glass, playing golf, and loud, vulgar, confrontational language, smoking tobacco, cannabis, illegal drugs, alcohol and vapes.
- Unauthorized apparatus (inflatable, tent, etc.) that requires being secured to the ground.
- Soliciting or vending.
- Hunting, trapping, and fishing.
- Swimming in the stream
- Overnight parking and camping.
- Scooters, bicycles, and roller skates on the tennis court.
- Vehicles outside of the parking lot, unless authorized by the Parks and Recreation Director.
- The pavilion must be reserved for gatherings. Applications and information for reservations can be found on the Parks and Recreation Department website. Facility and space rentals are subject to fees.
- Picnicking is permitted in the grass area and along the trails. Grills must be used in designated areas, attended, and drowned at the end of use.
- The parking lot is not maintained during winter months.
- Please be mindful of the wildlife you see on the field. Be aware of bears and ticks.
- In an emergency, please call 9-1-1.

- The Parks and Recreation Commission reserves the right to suspend rules with a vote in the affirmative to accommodate events and programs.
