Strong Foundations - August Session Balance, Mobility, Strength, and Bone Health.Move better. Feel stronger. Build a healthier future. This full-body class is designed to improve the four pillars of healthy aging: balance, mobility, strength, and bone health. Through safe, functional exercises, you'll build strength, improve flexibility and stability, and stimulate bone growth to help keep your body strong and resilient. As we age, we naturally lose muscle, bone density, mobility, and balance. These changes accelerate during midlife, particularly for women, as hormonal changes associated with menopause lead to a more rapid decline in bone density, muscle mass, strength, and balance. This increases the risk of falls, hip fractures, and loss of independence. The good news? Your body responds remarkably well to the right kind of exercise. This class will help you build strength, protect your bones, improve balance,a nd move with greater confidence. All fitness levels are welcome. Exercise can be modified for every ability.PLEASE NOTE: The $10 Discount for Resident Seniors will be applied at checkout.
