Kent Park & Recreation is proud to be able to once again offer our Youth T-Ball & Baseball program for the spring of 2023! With coed programs for children 3 years old through 6th grade - all taking place at the Kent Center School - there's something for everyone right here in Kent!
Pre-K & K: Start Smart Clinic (Minimum Age of 3 for the Pre-K Group)
Runs from 5:30p to 6:15p on Wednesdays 5/1 - 6/5
This clinic-style program introduces children to t-ball through fun group activities. Parental involvement is required!
1st & 2nd Grade: T-Ball
Runs on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning in mid-late April through the end of the school year.
Players will be broken down into teams and will play in instructional level t-ball games designed for fun and learning!
3rd & 4th Grade: Coach Pitch
Runs on Tuesdays & Thursdays beginning in mid-late April through the end of the school year.
If possible players will be broken down into teams and will play in instructional coach-pitched games designed for fun and learning! If there are not enough players to form teams, program will run as a clinic with scrimmage games.
5th & 6th Grade: Player Pitch Clinic
This program is designed for players in the 4th through 6th grade to enhance their baseball skills through practices, drills and other activities. Complete details to-be-determined.
Program Cost
Resident: $40.00/participant
Non-resident: $45.00/participant
Coaching discount: $10.00/child if parent volunteers to coach
"Resident" is defined as any participant who resides in the town of Kent or pays tuition to attend the Kent Center School.
Coaching discount will be issued at the end of the program.
