The Town of Kent Park & Recreation Department runs an After School Program at the Kent Center School for children in kindergarten through 8th grade that attend KCS.  The program takes place on school days (except early dismissal days) beginning immediately after school and running until 5:30p.  The program allows children much flexibility in the indoor and outdoor activities they can choose to take part in and also includes daily snack time, team-building and positive-interaction activities, and homework time.LOCATION: Kent Center School, 9 Judd Avenue in KentTIMES: Immediately After School until 5:30pCOST: $12.50 per session attended.  Account is invoiced monthly, $12.50 non-refundable deposit required for all transactions including single-day and same-day reservations.AGES: Kindergarten through 8th Grade; KCS students onlyPlease note that registration for any given day will close at 12:00p sharp on that day.  We cannot take sign-ups after that point.Also note that scholarships are available for those in need via the Kent Community Fund; contacted the P&R office for details.If you have any questions at all please e-mail us at parkandrec@townofkentct.org for more information.

Do you want to learn dog basic commands? Are you interested in troubleshooting dog specific needs with your canine companion? Join Lee Sohl in this year's Dog Obedience training! This is a co-ed, drop-in program taking place at the Kent Center School gym on Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 7pm according to the schedule below. Equipment will be provided. There is no need to sign up in advance, just show up ready to play!  There is no registration fee for this program, however all players must sign a waiver before stepping on the court. Thank you in advance for understanding! Dates:4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5Please note, the drop in pickleball program does not run on days school is closed.

This is a co-ed, drop-in program taking place at the Kent Center School gym on Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 7pm according to the schedule below. Equipment will be provided. There is no need to sign up in advance, just show up ready to play!  There is no registration fee for this program, however all players must sign a waiver before stepping on the court. Thank you in advance for understanding! Dates:4/24, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5Please note, the drop in pickleball program does not run on days school is closed.

The Town of Kent Park & Recreation Department runs an After School Program at the Kent Center School for children in kindergarten through 8th grade that attend KCS.  The program takes place on school days (except early dismissal days) beginning immediately after school and running until 5:30p.  The program allows children much flexibility in the indoor and outdoor activities they can choose to take part in and also includes daily snack time, team-building and positive-interaction activities, and homework time.LOCATION: Kent Center School, 9 Judd Avenue in KentTIMES: Immediately After School until 5:30pCOST: $12.50 per session attended.  Account is invoiced monthly, $12.50 non-refundable deposit required for all transactions including single-day and same-day reservations.AGES: Kindergarten through 8th Grade; KCS students onlyPlease note that registration for any given day will close at 12:00p sharp on that day.  We cannot take sign-ups after that point.Also note that scholarships are available for those in need via the Kent Community Fund; contacted the P&R office for details.If you have any questions at all please e-mail us at parkandrec@townofkentct.org for more information.

Do you want to learn dog basic commands? Are you interested in troubleshooting dog specific needs with your canine companion? Join Lee Sohl in this year's Dog Obedience training! Classes will be held at Kent Commons Park from 5pm - 6pm on 5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 7/5, and 7/10. Cost is $150/dog.
